An Amur Leopard's diet consists tof mainly deer. They mainly eat the Roe Deer and Sika Deer, their diet also containing small wild boars, hares, badgers, and raccoon dogs. Amur Leopards will eat some of their prey, then they will find a hiding place for it, so no other animals can get it, and they will come back for it later. This helps in winter, when prey may be scarce, or hard to find.
An Amur Leopard, like every other thing, has a role to play in the world. Amur Leopards hunt deer, which helps keep their population in check. If only Amur Leopards and deer lived in the same place, the Amur Leopards would keep the Deer population at a good rate, which also keeps the plant population healthy. If only deer existed, the plants would be ovverwhelmed by the ammount of deer needing to feed on it, causing there to be not enough food. If only Amur Leopards existed, they would all die. Amur Leopards are a species of big cat, Panthera pardus orientalis, so they are carnivores, meaning they eat meat. Amur Leopards would die because they need meat, they only eat grass because it helps them vomit, getting hairballs out easier, thus showing they would die due to not being able to adapt to a life without meat.
